montaigne + websites

Few tings about Montaigne. I recently made few changes to make it a bit faster and also reduce cost. As always the goal to make it sustainable and I hope I can run it for many more years. It’s been 3.5 years now.

In other news I’ve made one more service to make websites called https://tinydot.com/.

It comes with its own macOS app and soon IOS.

How does it work and what is different from Montaigne:  montaigne only published online from Apple Notes while new services creates websites from folders/files in your Finder. So any file can be published.

You may ask why would I want that? I tried to answer here. In short last year was beginning of huge transformation caused by AI and AI agents. And apparently AI agents become way more useful if the content they work with is accessible in files.

So I basically needed to have a tool for myself for that new reality. Give it a try.

It’s early days and probably not super clear how AI agent play a role here, but I will make few videos soon and that would be way more useful. I wanted to record several videos over holidays but unfortunately got sick.
