montaigne and other products. year in review

I thought I'd share some numbers with you. I think some of you enjoy those updates.

montaigne.io  - 3700+ users and 4K sites creates since the launch in 2022. To this day I think it’s still my most popular project. It also has highest number of paying customers(thank you!). But unfortunately I still failed to make it break even in 2024. It brings a bit of money, but less than my expenses running it.

alto.daily - iOS app to track habits backed by Apple Reminders. I only launched it in August 2024 and 1700 people installed it(way less active users, but those are harder to measure). I’m happy with this one - since really it was my first iOS app! 10 people donated to support development and it brought $42(pre Apple Tax).

alto.computer - macOS utility app for Apple Notes. 1300 people installed it since I released in in April 2024. 15 people donated and 24 people purchased Apple Notes Exporter add-on.

alto.mail  - macOS plugin for Apple Mail. 247 installed it since the release in Sept 2024.

alto.start - Safari new tab plugin that shows your Apple Reminders every time you open new tab. Released few weeks ago.  69 people installed it.

public.me -  blogging tool backed by iMessage. Released 1.5 months ago. 508 users registered. 4568 messages sent. Also got two important donations that helped a lot(thank you)!

There were few more apps that I published(but they have no more than 300 downloads so far). Plus I relaunched https://recuremail.com/ with a new name and more protections from spammers.

Anyway, thank you for trying and using my products. It means a lot to me. Even if you did use them in the past and stopped.
